I thought as a weekend special I would share with you my top five posts from 2011. It’s no big surprise that Avocado Chocolate Chip cookies swept the first place. Everyone was so surprised by the secret ingredient and by how tasty they were. If you haven’t tried these already now is a great time!
Number two was a big hit just the last few months. My Eggnog French Toast Casserole got readers from all over the web and across the globe. It’s no wonder; it’s an easy recipe that any holiday foodie would love!
In third place is Ugly Pug Beer Ice Cream! This was one of my favorites! It is a rich and lightly sweetened ice cream with a little dark beer mixed in. Plus toffee bits to top it off. No need to wait till summer to give this one a try!
My number four post isn’t a food item at all. It is My Experiment with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint where I fixed up an old dresser with this fancy/amazing new paint. If you don’t know what chalk paint is (and I don’t mean chalk board paint) than I suggest you check it out.
And rounding out the top five are Healthy Low Calorie Cinnamon Rolls. I know it sounds like an impossible recipe. I know you think that they can’t be as good as the original, but I have heard from many readers who have loved them. This winter is a great time to give this quick recipe a shot!
I hope you have enjoyed reading these posts as much as I have enjoyed making them and hearing from you guys. I can’t wait to see what new recipes I come up with in 2012. Stay tuned!
Did you try any of my recipes in 2011? I’d love to hear your thoughts and what you’d like to see more of.
